A former Holton educator has been severely impacted by the recent Hurricanes. Trayce King's home sustained terrible damage and lost many personal effects. Our very own, Josie Landry, is coordinating a fundraising event to garner support. Please see the information below regarding the Coin Drive that will be taking place this week.
Mrs. King taught kindergarten at Holton Elementary for 8 years. She is a fabulous teacher who went above and beyond for her students while here at Holton. Now it is our turn to step up and help her. Through partnership with local businesses, Jhett’s Pizza and Cecil K’s have graciously agreed to donate and help our cause!
Holton USD 336 will be having a competition between all grade levels from elementary through high school to see who can raise the most money. The grade level that donates the most money will win an ice cream party sponsored by Cecil K’s. Additionally, the homeroom class that donates the most money will win pizza for lunch sponsored by Jhetts!
Bring your donations in to your homeroom teacher October 15th-18th. We will announce the winners the following week. If you have any questions or would like to make a private donation, please contact Josie directly by email (j.landry@holtonks.net).

Un educador de Holton se ha visto severamente afectado por los recientes huracanes. La casa de Trayce King sufrió daños terribles y perdió muchas pertenencias personales.
