Wildcats! We are thrilled to announce that Carter Colberg and Luke Lassey have been named a National Merit Scholarship semi-finalist! This prestigious honor recognizes students who excel in the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT). To be considered for a National Merit Scholarship, semi-finalists must meet high academic standards and have an outstanding record of extracurricular activities. Only about 1.5% of high school seniors nationwide are named semi-finalists. Please join us in congratulating these two scholars on this remarkable achievement!

Wildcat Families, A former Holton educator has been severely impacted by the recent Hurricanes. Trayce King's home sustained terrible damage and lost many personal effects. Our very own, Josie Landry, is coordinating a fundraising event to garner support. Please see the information below regarding the Coin Drive that will be taking place this week. Mrs. King taught kindergarten at Holton Elementary for 8 years. She is a fabulous teacher who went above and beyond for her students while here at Holton. Now it is our turn to step up and help her. Through partnership with local businesses, Jhett’s Pizza and Cecil K’s have graciously agreed to donate and help our cause! Holton USD 336 will be having a competition between all grade levels from elementary through high school to see who can raise the most money. The grade level that donates the most money will win an ice cream party sponsored by Cecil K’s. Additionally, the homeroom class that donates the most money will win pizza for lunch sponsored by Jhetts! Bring your donations in to your homeroom teacher October 15th-18th.
