Dear Parents, I'm writing to inform you about an important change regarding extracurricular participation fees for the upcoming school year. The School Board approved the elimination of the $30 Student Activity fee (extracurricular participation fee). In the past, this $30 fee covered a student's participation in extracurricular activities and also served as their gate pass for home athletic events. With the elimination of this fee, there's a slight adjustment to how students will access home sporting events. For students who wish to attend home athletic events for the school year, a "Gate Pass" will now be available for purchase at $30. This pass will grant students access to home games for the academic year. Students not purchasing the Gate Pass will need to pay the standard admission fee at the gate for each event they attend. Once enrollment opens, you can purchase a Gate Pass through E-Funds. We believe this change simplifies the fee structure and provides more flexibility for families. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the school office. Thanks, Jeremy Truelove, HHS Principal
