FCCLA is making a difference! This month, members created and delivered 55 activity bags for 1st graders at HES. Students worked together to organize supplies and design fun, hands-on activities focused on reading, math, and writing. Proud of our students for making a difference!

Advanced Foods students got creative in the kitchen today, making healthier versions of donuts! 🍩 Students experimented with different recipes and even made their own glazes to top them off. Learning never tasted so good!

Kindergarten students started by using their imaginations to design and describe their very own monsters. Their drawings were then sent to the high school, where FACS students brought those ideas to life—learning hand-stitching techniques while creating one-of-a-kind stuffed monsters.
Projects like this are a powerful way to connect students across grade levels, combining creativity, hands-on learning, and collaboration. Mrs. Oldehoeft's Intro to FACS classes have created monsters for several years.
Yesterday, the kindergarteners received their monsters, and it was a special moment for everyone involved. The excitement from the littles and the pride from our high school students made it a day to remember! 💙
