CTE Pathway Spotlight: Diversified Agricultural Science
Students in the Diversified Agricultural Science Pathway are preparing for careers in agriculture by gaining an understanding of mechanical, plant, animal, and environmental systems. Students participate in hands-on learning experiences that develop technical skills while emphasizing real-world applications. Involvement in FFA provides students with supervised agricultural experiences (SAEs) and leadership development through speaking and judging contests. Students build problem-solving abilities, workplace readiness skills, and industry knowledge that prepare them for postsecondary education, technical training, or direct entry into the workforce.

Next Tuesday, February 24th, is the State-wide, free ACT test for all Juniors. They will take the test in the morning. Make sure to check in with your Junior to see if they've signed up! There's still time to sign up if they haven't - all they need to do is touch base with Mrs. Frazier as soon as possible and she can get them on the list.

🏆 Holton Scholars Bowl = Big East Champions! 🏆
On January 27th, the Holton Varsity Scholars Bowl Team battled their way to an 8–2 win at the Big East District Championship, claiming the league title and pushing their season record to 61–10!
Keely Lovitt earned All-League honors as Holton’s top scorer.
Team members: Charlie Turner (captain), Havilah Myers, Keely Lovitt, Hunter Segenhagen, David Nunies, Emma Newberry.
